Session Overview
Mediatrix’ SIP Protocol Training will provide you with the unique opportunity for extensive training on the SIP Protocol.
By performing hands-on exercise you will acquire the technical skills and knowledge needed to understand SIP communications between all SIP entities. Furthermore, methods will be explained in relation to the SIP Standards (RFC).
Intended Attendee
This course requires a high level of technical knowledge, a technical background as well as some hands-on and troubleshooting experience in IP Networking.
Pre-Requisite Training Module: Mediatrix SIP Self-Training Kit
Competencies
By the end of this Training Session the students will have acquired the following competencies:
- Identify SIP Methods, Requests and Responses
- Understand the role of the various SIP Elements
- Read and understand SIP Call Flows
- Locate SIP within the IP Protocols layers
- Understand SIP Headers
- Identify SIP Call flow anomalies
- Troubleshoot issues related to SIP negotiation
