Communications Convergence Product of the year - 2004

January 19, 2004 - CMP's Communications Convergence magazine has selected the Mediatrix 1124 as a recipient of their annual Product of the Year award. According to the publishers of Communications Convergence, the Product of the Year winner's circle features companies who have moved ahead of the pack during a period of market quiescence, and are now set to outpace the recovery. The Mediatrix 1124 beat out more than 250 vendors to win the award. John Jainschigg, editor in chief, Communications Convergence magazine stated the following: “For our money, it's hard to find better value than you get from Mediatrix, who make a range of gateways and access devices at various scales, up to 24 ports. We've been seeing a lot of these in demos, lately; and on the recommended gateways lists of software-based IP PBX and softswitch vendors. And it's for good reason: they perform flawlessly, they're easy to manage, and they support PSTN fallback, which is essential as VoIP is asked to take on more mission-critical tasks.”

Editors Choice Award 2002

January 1, 2002 - Received “Editors Choice Award 2002” for the Mediatrix 1104, a 4-port integrated access device and the IP Communication Server. Featured in TMC’s Internet Telephony January 2002 issue, the accompanying review said, in part: "We conclude that both the Mediatrix 1104 and the IP Communication Server are splendid products. Since the four FXS ports made the device more like a SOHO SIP product than a simple IP phone, the price of it is acceptable. Furthermore, the sound quality of the calls were first-rate, and the functionality of the Mediatrix 1104, especially with the use of the IP Communication Server, rivaled that of any SIP end point on the market today.” In addition, both products received an overall rating of "A-" which merited the Editors’ Choice Award 2002.
